Dewi is the Managing Partner of Dewi Djalal & Partners. Dewi commenced her professional career with several top-tier Jakarta law firms where she was principally involved in general corporate, financing, investments & banking, merger & acquisitions, ICT, broadcasting, telecommunication, and infrastructure. In 2011, she moved to the corporate sector initially in an in-house lawyer as a Head of Legal Corporate and then as Vice President Legal Counsel at State-Owned Enterprise.

Dewi is a regular speaker in legal and other forums, seminars, and workshops. She is a lecturer on the Pre-BAR exam (PKPA) held by FHP Law Education, a lecturer for Basic Levels 1 and 2 of the Financial Legal Consultant Profession Program held by Financial Sector Legal Consultant Association (HKHSK) and a lecturer in the Master of Law Program at Universitas Gadjah Mada. In addition, she was frequently appointed as an examiner for the Doctoral Program at Universitas Pelita Harapan Jakarta owing to her expertise and ability, and has also served as a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia, and Universitas Trisakti.

Dewi also holds several certification and membership in several organizations such as:

• Head of Legislative and Regulatory Studies in Financial Sector Legal Consultant Association (HKHSK) for the period of 2024-2027;
• Advocate and a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI);
• Member of Association of Indonesian Liquidator (PPLI);

• Legal Consultant registered by the Financial Services Authority (OJK);
• Certification as a Support Consultant of Commercial Paper Issuance of Bank Indonesia (Bank Indonesia);
• Certification of Mediation from the Indonesian Mediation Center;
• Certification of Indonesian Legal Auditors;
• Certification of Indonesian Liquidators;
• Certification of Tax Consultant (Brevet) A and B;
• Certification of Tax Attorney.

Her expertise and contributions to the field have earned her distinguished awards, such as being selected as the Panel Judge by Asian Legal Business (”ALB”) in ALB Women in Law Award 2021, shortlisted as the finalist in the category of Managing Partner of the Year, Woman Lawyer of the Year, and Young Lawyer of the Year from ALB Indonesia from 2021 until 2024, shortlisted as the finalist in the category of Woman Lawyer of the Year (Law Firm) from ALB South East Asia Law from 2024 until 2025, being ranked as Highly Regarded Lawyer by IFLR1000 2025-2026, whilst also recently recognized as Golden Alumni of Top Indonesian Law Schools 2025 by Hukumonline.

Additionally, She has written two books which are: Aksi Korporasi dan Transaksi Future Value di BUMN – Polemik Kerugian Keuangan Negara published in 2022, and Pidana Korporasi Jerat BUMN – Good Corporate Governance dan Business Judgement Rule sebagai Upaya Preventif published in 2023. She speaks Bahasa Indonesia and English.
